Andrea Fossà focused his attention on the musical and technical aspects of early music performance following the courses of Cristophe Coin and Jesper Christensen at the Schola Cantorum in Basel and attending stages and masterclasses with Anner Bijlsma, Hidemi Suzuki, Jaap ter Linden. The concert activity leads him to perform in the most important festivals and concert halls in Europe, the United States, Australia, Mexico. He has made numerous recordings collaborating with various labels such as Harmonia Mundi, Capriccio, K617, Dynamic, Symphonia, Tactus, Nuova Era, Naxos, Bongiovanni, Pentaphon, Agorà, Inedita Teacher at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia and the Scuola Popolare di Musica di Testaccio in Rome, he is invited to hold masterclasses and courses in Italian and foreign musical institutions. He recorded the world premiere of the sonatas for violoncello and harpsichord by Pietro Gaetano Boni (Rome 1717), of which he also edited the facsimile edition for the publishing house S.P.E.S.
